Accomplished full time professional harpist with over 30 years experience Holly Avesian is thrilled to call the Charleston, South Carolina Lowcountry area her new home.

TEACHING

Holly is passionate about teaching harp to students of all ages and abilities on both lever and pedal harp. Her teaching studio has included students from the very young to the young at heart. One on one instruction ensures your lessons are customized to fit the individual's goals.

WEDDINGS

A harp at your wedding creates an air of elegance and grace, evoking sounds of gentle beauty for your special day. Having performed at weddings for over 30 years, Holly Avesian plays classical and popular favorites to the delight of brides and grooms and their guests.

A harp can add a special touch to any event or function.  Music ranging from classical to jazz standards sound incredible on the harp.  Holly performs regularly at receptions, church services, business functions, cocktail hours, holiday events and more!

TEACHING IS HOLLY'S PASSION

Our harp studio has multiple harps of all sizes available for the students use during lessons and to get started on.  Holly's background includes Music Education degrees from University of Michigan and ongoing teacher training. She is a long time member of American String Teachers Association and the Music Teachers Association of which she served on a regional Executive Board and chaired the Strings Concerto Competitions.

Holly will create a program for your prelude, cocktail hour or reception music and is happy to learn new music to full fill any special requests.
